Muslim Wardrobe - An Epitome of Self-Effacement

Muslim Clothes depicts modesty, virtue, and respect despite being conservative; its elegance and style are beyond doubt and received acclamation & appreciation worldwide. The Muslim clothes were inherited from the primary dress-code of the ancient Roman and Ottoman Empires and further improved upon and recreated in terms of the socio-economic-religious-climatic fabric of the parts of the world where it has been generated. All around the world, they maintain their ancient enchantment, right from freezing Bosnia to humid rainforest areas of America to bone dry Africa.

Muslim Dress codes generally depend upon the individual and their family values and essence. The wardrobe of both the gender maintains decency and a statement of faith, and a bit of conservative social protection. Some of the dress codes retained and prevailing by the majority of Muslim society are:

# Cover yourself

Attention seeking is not the criteria. Decorating and ornamenting the soul in respect of comfort and religious faith is of much importance to them.

# Keep it Loose

Muslim dress mostly do not outline the torso. It has to be comfortable and modest.

# Opaque

Neither of the sex is encouraged to try see-through cloth pieces. Cover your skin along with its color.

# Be yourself

Men are to be proud of their masculinity, and they are forbidden from trying decorative accessories which are inherently feminine. Both genders are unique and beautiful in their way, and imitating doesn’t make someone unique.

# Dress your behavior

Modesty should be maintained both in manners and clothing- that emphasizes the purity within you.

# Soothing and not Flashy

A simple and sober wardrobe is preferred; this keeps one focussed and calm.

The Muslim dresses are now in tandem with the ethos and contemporary moods. Muslim Clothes are now on the bucket list of everyone regardless of their religion.

Jilbabs are long Muslim dress that covers the entire skin and are paired with a hijab, which is a head-dress. Nowadays Jilbabs are embellished with embroidery, jaari works, beads, and stones, hooks, and frills. Kaftan dress, another one-piece is also very trendy. Men have their signature dress piece that's a thobe, an ethnic robe covering the whole physique. Traditionally these thobes are paired with a ghutra (a headscarf) by the native Khaleejis. This Muslim cloth can be styled as a traditional one, rocked with streetwear, layered with overcoats and jackets, hooded, short, and long-sleeved. There are various head-dresses available, like a Fez cap (conical-shaped), turbans or imama (which can be styled in multiple forms), a kaffiya.

It is very much apparent the Muslim clothes not only project ethnicity and values but also set up trends in facing the tough competition of different dress codes prevailing in the fashion world and remarkably make the world feel its presence.
