Even in this modern era, the Islamic religion is widely spreading
in different parts of the world, especially in democratic places. With this,
you would find many Islamic women covering their heads with a simple scarf kind
called Hijab as a mark of respect towards their religion, tradition and
culture. Hijab is one such scarf
donned by Muslim women to cover their neck, head and hair and keeps only the
face exposed. It is an important part of Islamic clothing.

Why women
wear hijab
When we refer to Islamic clothing
wearing a hijab is considered as an
integral part of their dressing style. Basically, as per the holy book Quran,
Muslims are supposed to keep their entire body covered and thus they are
required to wear a hijab to help
them cover their head. Not only for the sake of religion, but women today also wear
hijabs for other reasons too:
·
They feel protected – Many women revealed that
it gives them a sense of protection from the outsiders.
·
Fashion statement – Girls these days try to
portray a stylish and cool design by donning a hijab with the classy clothes they wear.
·
As a symbol of identity – For some women, it is a symbol of identity that helps them remain true to
their origin.
