Know Different Types of Muslim Clothing for Women

 Islamic Countries are very strict about their clothing. The people out there have to follow a certain dress code. Though it is the era of modernization, Muslim clothing is still able to maintain its dignity. This theory of modernized Muslim Women Clothing may be observed by the people but still, they are wearing the most decent clothes.

                                                 

When we talk about Islamic dress for women, they are following a certain dress code. Maybe this is because of political pressure or their beliefs. You must be thinking about how Islamic clothes are different from ours. Right? Islamic women have to cover their heads with a piece of clothing. There are many types of Muslim Women Clothing like the hijab, burka, niqab, Shayla, and many more. 

1) Burka: Burkha, or Burka, is a veil that covers the whole body of women. It includes a mesh screen that covers her eyes. It is worn as a daily clothing item and removed only at home. With the up-gradation of Burka Fashion, it is now found in many different colors and fabrics.

                                                   



2) Shalwar Kameez: This clothing is preferred by both women and men. Mostly, women are seen wearing Shalwar Kameez in India. It is a combination of loose trousers and tunic. Muslim Women usually carry a dupatta with this whole outfit.

             
 
3) Niqab: Niqab is another Muslim Clothing item that looks almost like a Burka. The only difference between them is that women have an option for deciding whether they want to cover their eyes or not.

 
 


4) Jilbab: Jilbab is a loose and long coat or outer garment preferred by some Muslim women. It is a great combination of Modern and Islamic world. Here, the whole body is covered while leaving the hands, face, and head uncovered. It is worn with a hijab or khimar. 


5) Chador: Chador is an open cloak that many Islamic women wear in the public. It is mostly preferred by Middle Eastern women. It is a long semi-circular fabric with no sleeves. It is flowy and is pinned on the head. It can be worn with a hijab to make it look modern. 


6) Abaya: Abaya is mostly worn by women from the Arab Gulf Countries. It also looks like a chadar but has sleeves in it. It is mostly found in Black color with heavy work. It is usually fastened so that they remain close. It doesn’t cover the face of a woman.

                                               

7) Khimar: Khimar looks like a Hijab that covers the head of a woman. It doesn’t cover the face of women and looks like a scarf.                                                  

 8) Hijab: Hijab is counted as a modern Muslim garment that looks like a veil. It covers the head of women with a rectangular piece. Depending on the style, the hijab is called as tarhah or Shaylah.
