Different tips to keep in mind
· Wear a scarf under your hijabs - This prevents the hair from slipping out under your hijab. While choosing a scarf you can choose from a variety of and fabrics, colors, and styles that would easily match your hijabs.
· Secure with the right pins – You should choose the right pins to secure your hijab in place without damaging the fabric. · Know your face shape –
o If the shape of your face is round, make sure that the hijab remains a little loose at the sides to compliment the face. Revealing more of the forehead is also a good way to make the face appear narrower from the face sides.
o For an oval-shaped face, go for a regular Pashmina style or tight Turkish style hijabs. You can try different styles in an oval face.
o For those having a heart-shaped face, place the pin below the chin to expose more of the jawline. Try avoiding multi-layers at the sides as that can make your face look wider.
o For a square face, you can try loosening the hijabs and exposing your forehead. This creates a round line and softens the square shape.
o If you have a rectangular face show your forehead and sees that the hijab holds closer to the face from the sides. This acts as a simple trick to give your face a long look.
